These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Foretext mobile application (“App”) developed by Orkun Sefik (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), available at:

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, these Terms shall govern solely with respect to matters specifically addressed herein; the Apple EULA governs all remaining matters.
Foretext uses artificial intelligence to generate simulated text message predictions (“Predictions”) based on behavioral patterns derived from chat export files that you provide. The App analyzes communication style, vocabulary, and messaging habits solely to produce probabilistic text simulations.
All content generated by the App is entirely artificial and probabilistic. Predictions are statistical approximations produced by an AI model and do not represent, reflect, or constitute actual thoughts, statements, intentions, feelings, or communications of any real person.
By using the App, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, harm, or claim — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising from or related to:
By accepting these Terms, you unconditionally release the Developer from any and all claims arising from the use or misuse of simulated content.
Foretext offers an auto-renewable monthly subscription (“Premium”). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID account settings.
The current subscription price is displayed in the App and in the App Store listing. Prices may change upon notice.
All purchases are final. Refunds, if any, are governed solely by Apple’s refund policies.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, code, and AI models, are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Developer. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
